I can't wait to see this show tomorrow! I can guaranty you that while I finish getting ready to go on my mini vaca, I will be watching this. Full House was such a big part of my childhood *almost as big of a part as Boy Meets World* I remember everyone would stop playing or what ever else they were doing to watch this show. I looked forward to it every week. I'm pretty sure that somewhere in my closet I still have books based on the show. I just hope that it lives up to all the expectations that are surrounding it. I am so sorry that I haven't been on at all this week. Here I am promising you that I will be on more often. Telling you that I had a ton of fun new things coming your way. And I just up and disappear on you. The thing is my internet went out. We called them and the guy promised us that it would only take 24 hours for it to turn back on. 4 days later.... And I finally have the internet back. So once again I am sorry but it was out of my hands. There was literally nothing I could do about it. This weekend I am going to go visit my super good friend Cassie and her cheeky little boy Georgie. I am really excited about that. I am taking the train to seem them Friday and will be there until Sunday night., and then I will take the train back. We have tons of fun stuff planned for the time I am there. I will be vlogging as much as I can this weekend. And I will try and put the video up for you guys soon. I want to try and put something up before I leave. Maybe a short story or just a regular blog post. I never do just a normal chatty type blog post for you guys anymore. And I really want to start getting into the habit of doing that again. So I;m going to try and force myself to come on here and do that no procrastinating. I hope everyone is enjoying their Thursday, *If not I hope it gets better* It has been a long one for me. An I still have a ton of things to do before I leave for my trip. So I'm going to get off here an start getting things ready for tomorrow. XO That One Girl
"And that was the end of it." She said. I looked at her a little baffled. "You just left?" I asked. She shook her head taking a sip of coffee. "It wasn't easy. But I'm glad its over." "No regrets?" I asked. She looked out the window and sighed. "I am going to miss the private jet. Waiting in airport lines is a bitch." I couldn't help but laugh. I admired Laila for what she did. Giving up her parents money, and moving to a town she barley knew a thing about.
To pursue her passion in cooking. And to open up a restaurant. Something her parents didn't approve of. Saying it was a childish and feverish dream. That she should stay in law school. Then get a job at her fathers firm. They refused to fund any of it. So for the first time in her life she stood up for herself. Dropped out of Law School. Cashed out her trust fund and enrolled in Culinary School. After graduating she rented a building in a place that she referred to as the perfect spot. Here we were sitting at the (for now) only table in the place, Drinking coffee and looking at paint swatches. "Have I told you that I decided on a name?" She asked. I shook my head. "It's going to be called The Blue Fairy Cafe. Like the fairy from Pinocchio. She believed in dreams. This is my dream, And who knows maybe some day someone will be sitting here having lunch when they realize their dreams." I've been promising a new short story for a while now. And honestly I have been intending to write one. But for the life of me I just didn't know where it start. Every time I sat down to write nothing would come out. I knew I wanted to write another story about Connor and Morgan. I just didn't know what. So I went on Pinterest and searched for writers prompts. I saved a bunch of them *to a private folder* that I thought would be great starting points to another C/M story. But I never got past the first few sentences with each one I chose. So I went into my room and picked up an old notebook I haven't looked at in months. Inside are short stories and prompts I had written down all threw out last year. I found one titled "The Blue Fairy Cafe" that I had totally forgotten I wrote. Now before you all start jumping to conclusions its not a Science Fiction story. It's a story about a girl who had a dream in life. A dream that she would give up everything to get. So after reading this story. And doing some major editing *remind you I'm not a professional editor, and my grammar yes will forever suck,* I have decided that this will be the story I am going to post today, So go get yourself something to drink *it is national drink wine day after all* get yourself comfortable and *hopefully* enjoy my latest short story. I haven't done one of these *on my blog* sense August. So I have decided to throw it back to about 4 years ago? I think is when this picture was taken. here's hoping my sisters don't mind me posting this one.
The Quote of the week is back! You can now find the quote of the week on the homepage.
Its no secret *no pun* that I'm a huge fan of the band Little Mix. Meeting them is on my bucket list. I also have lyrics *that has a lot of meaning to me* to one of their song "We Are Who We Are" tattooed on my left arm. In fact I'm listening to Towers right now. I know I'm rambling but there's a point. I have been thinking of doing a song of the week thing. Where i post different songs and things I have been listening to. It will have a rang of everything from Little Mix to 2 Chainz *who btw sings some of my all time favs.* So keep an eye out each week for a new song. XO That One Girl I'm shocked to hear tonight that Pro BMX Biker Dave Mirra has taken his life. My thoughts and Prayers go out to his wife and daughters. He is a legend that will definitely be missed by so many.
I have been thinking a lot about this website lately. What I could add to it and what I could do with what I have. I decided that a major change needed to happen. Starting with the layout. It took me forever to find one that I really liked, and felt the people who come to the site would too. Keep an eye out on the home page. Because the quote will be changing frequently. *Keep in mind that the mobile version of the site will not have the quote or banners*
My vlog is back. I have been wanting to start vlogging again for a long time now. But always second guessed myself. Because I felt that no one would be interested in what I was doing that day. Or that I wouldn't get enough footage. I'm just going to bite the bullet and start doing it. Whether I think people will like it or not. Staring with my weekend trip to my close friend Cassie's house. *Cassie has been featured in previous vlogs* I will be taking the train to and from her house. We also have a lot of fun things planned for the 3 days that I will be down there. Another thing I will defiantly be doing on this trip is taking some new Paris In My Pocket pictures. I'm also excited to start doing that again. This summer I am going down to California to visit one of my best friends Michelle. I am beyond excited for this trip. I can't wait! I will be vlogging that as well. *I promise I will vlog between the end of this month and the Cali trip.* I will also try and do some P.I.M.P pics there too. But I can't make promises about the Paris pics. Short stories are back. I have so many ideas for new stories and I will be sharing them with you all very very soon. So keep an eye out for all of that. XO That One Girl |
