The winning prompt is "It Was His Last Thought Before He Fell..." Do to the rules of the "contest" I didn't count any verbal, text or FB votes. And voting to for me to continue a previous story also didn't count. Although a lot of you did try on FB to get me to continue "What's In The Notebook?" . I did however make a compromise. That if people voted for a new prompt I would continue What's In The Notebook... Which in my opinion needs a new and better title haha. I will keep that promise. So with out further blah blah blah here is His Last Thought... Morgan walked to the edge of the cliff. And looked down. His palms started to sweat, his throat felt as dry as the sand in the Sahara. His best friend Connor had already took the jump. That was the thing about Connor. He never thought. He just did. "Live your life. Don't let your life live you." It was Connor's motto. And one of the things Morgan loved about him. There was never dull moment when he was around. It was also one of the things he hated. "Ready kid?" The instructor said putting a hand on Moran's left shoulder. He nearly jumped out of his skin. For a brief moment he had forgot that Nick had been behind him. He opened his mouth to speak but nothing came out. Nick's face went from lets do this to concerned. "You okay kid?" He asked. Morgan shook his head. "You sure cause you look like you may lose your lunch. You don't have to do this you know. You can back out just say the word." Morgan cleared his throat. "No... I mean yea. Just... Just give me another minute." He rasped out. Nick patted him on the back and went to triple check the gear. "Morgan!" Connor yelled from the water below. Morgan looked down at the water. "Stop thinking about it and just jump dude! You wont regret it trust me." *One Week Earlier* Morgan was sitting at his computer attempting to finish his English essay on "The Lord of The Flies". Attempting meaning he was really trying to BS his way threw an essay on a book he only read the first and last chapter of. Connor came bursting threw the door just as he slammed his head down on the keys. "Dude I have an epic idea!" He declared plopping onto Morgan's bed. "Of coarse you do." Morgan mumbled into his laptop. "Your 16th birthday is coming up." Connor continued pretending he didn't hear his best friends sarcastic remark. Morgan sat up and spun around in his chair facing Connor. "What about it?" A smile spread across Connor's face. It was the same smile that had gotten the boys into so many situations before. "I already talked to your parents. And they signed the permission slip...." "Wait permission slip? Why would I need a permission slip for my 16th?" Morgan interrupted. The smile got bigger. "Because dude we are going to make this the birthday you will never forget! Were going bungee jumping!" Connor was practically jumping on the bead with excitement. So that's how he found himself standing on the side of a cliff looking down at his best friend. "It's now or never Morg!" Connor yelled. Morgan straitened up and turned to Nick. "Alright dude. Lets do this!" He said. With a new burst of confidence that he really didn't know he had. "Right on kid! Face first of backwards?" Nick asked. "Backwards. If I look down I may not go threw with it." He confessed. With one more check of the gear Nick switched on the GoPro attached to Morgan's helmet. "Do you want me to count or do you just want to jump?"Nick asked. "Just jump. I kinda really just want to get this over with." Morgan replied. Nick shook his head. "Alright. It's your life kid." Yeah my life. And I'm going to live it and not let it live me. It was Morgan's last thought before he fell. Last week I posted a blog about how I was going to start writing short stories on here again. I went on to say I wanted you to pick what story I write next. I then posted a link to one of my other stories "What's In The Notebook?" onto my sisters FB page. After that people started asking me to write more on that story. Which is great but doesn't count as a vote for my next short story... The reason I had stopped where I did with the notebook was because it was done. That's as far as I was supposed to go. That prompt was a 10 minute writing prompt. I never expected to go any further then that. So I got to thinking that I MIGHT be able to write some more on this story and make it a weekly thing. I don't have the whole thing sorted out in my head yet but I do have some ideas. But I still need you to vote on the other short story. So please go to the link above and vote. After that story is written I will post the next part of What's In The Notebook (New title pending)

XO That One Girl The quote of the week is 1 year old today! I can't believe I have been doing this once a week for a whole year. The quote of the week is one of my favorite parts of this blog. I love looking up different quotes to post on here each week for you all to see. I'm really happy you like it just as much as I do. I hope that at least one of these quotes has inspired you in any way shape or form. Or even made you question something. I'm also surprised I haven't double up on quotes. Here's to another year of fun and inspirational quotes. I hope you all stick with me cause I got a lot more to share with you.
