The plan for my next blog post was an Owl Crate unboxing. But do to a hand full of events I will no longer be getting the July box in July. The shipping of my box has been pushed to August. I am still intending to do an unboxing I'm just not sure when this will happen yet. I know some of you have been waiting on this. Just hold in there a little longer its coming I promise.

I have been planing on posting another Owl Crate unboxing before I left on vacation. As of today I'm about 50% sure this will be happening. Owl Crate announced today that they would be shipping the boxes late this month. Instead of my box arriving next week it will be shipped then. I really hope it arrives in time for me to be able to post before I leave. If not I will definitely be posting it when I get back.
XO That One Girl Last week Fortune Cookie Soap relaunched one of my favorite collections. In honor of Alice Through the Looking Glass the Wonderland collection returned. With some old favs mixed with a few new. Making it Wonderland 2.0. I wanted so many things in this collection. But I told myself I would only get one thing for my trip to California. I ended up with one thing to bring with me and a little something extra for me to use now. The box came in the mail today *Happy dance* so I thought that I would do an *albeit small* unboxing for you guys. The first thing I saw when I opened the box was that they had thrown in a bonus item. *does another happy dance.* FCS very kindly sent me a small jar of Futterwacken Whipped Cream. For those who aren't familiar with FCS, their Whipped Cream is a lotion whipped to a light airy consistency. It makes your hands supper soft. The Whipped Creams have always been on of my fav products. So I was very excited to find this inside. *FCS sent description* Futterwacken is Sun warmed lilies brightened with a splash of grapefruit and a breath of fresh air. The second thing in the box isn't from the Wonderland 2.0 collection. It's an In The Loop Bath Bomb. In The Loop is the sent that got me hooked on FCS in the first place. Over the years it has become one of my go to scents. In The Loop smells exactly like you think it would. A fresh bowl of Fruit Loops. Last but not least the Who Are You Perfume Oil. This smells so pretty. It also reminds me a bit of Eat Me *Mind out of the gutter people.* Perfume Oil from the last collection. This perfume is the perfect size for travel. It's also a roll on. *FCS sent description* A mysterious mixture of crisp, ripe, pear twisted with tart limes, vanilla orchid, and dash of raw cane sugar. Wanna give FCS a try? For $5 off your order click here. All of Fortune Cookie Soap's products are 100% Vegan.
Here we are again with another unboxing. This one is something I'm really excited for! The Summer 2016 Fortune Cookie Soap Box. I've been subscribing to this box for almost 2 years now. Fortune Cookie Soap is one of my favorite companies. They have amazing and unique products that you cant find anywhere else. The Soap Box is a fun seasonal box that you get 4 times a year. My favs are always Spring and Summer. So you can see partly why I was excited about getting for this one. Each box has a fun theme. Some of my favs have been "Second Star To The Right" , "Wonderland" and "Old Hollywood" *Which I have talked about on here before.* This season's theme is "Just Keep Swimming" I absolutely love Finding Nemo. After hearing that it has inspired the theme of this summers box I couldn't wait to get my hands on it. *Hell I even call my great niece Squishy.* With every box you will get 8 products. 7 of the products are travel size. The Fortune Cookie soap itself *complete with fun fortune inside* is a full sized product. You also receive a 10 dollar discount code for anything on the website. One thing I love about the Soap Box is the price. If you live in the States you pay $19.99 every 3 months. For people who live in Canada the Box is $24.99 every 3 months. And if you live internationally you pay just $29.99 every 3 months. It's one of the most reasonably priced subscription box I have found. Click here for $5 off your first purchase. :) Enough with the intro lets check out this seasons Soap Box! The fist product I want to talk about is something that is new to the FCS range. It's a Spray Lotion called "Aqua Scum" The fortune cookie discretion is; "Feeling a little dry after taking a dip off the shores of Mt. Wannahawkaluegi?..." *gotta love the Nemo puns* "Not to worry - give our new ultra light spray lotion a try! Simply spray and rub into your skin until fully adsorbed. This moisturizing blend of juicy luchee, crisp apple and mouth watering peach nectar is sure to bring you back to a stare of optimal hydration. Take that, Aqua Scum! I had never seen spray lotions before so I was very intrigued when I heard about this one. The spray itself is a little off putting at first. It feels like you have just spayed a breath freshener onto your hands. But after rubbing it in my hands actually do feel softer. The smell is amazing! Although I love anything apple scented so I may be a little bias.
First impression this product smells amazing. And feels just like a hard ball of slime I would get out of the 50 cent machines as a kid. I love the way it shimmers in the light as well. I can't wait to try this one out.
I personally wasn't a big fan of this product. *hey it happens. Not often but it does.* in order to get a full color look I had to put on 3 coats *with a Q-Tip* and I'm also not a fan of the taste. But that's just me.
Again something apple scented, and I couldn't be happier. The smell of this is amazing. I can't wait to take this to work tomorrow. *It really is the little things in life.* Just a few products left. This one is an oil perfume the perfect size for your purse. The new sent is called Whale Talk. "*pretend you are a whale* PUUUUUTTTT MEEEEE OOOONNN YYYYYOOOOUUUUURRRRRR SSSSSKKKKKIIIIINNNNN, feelin' ridiculous yet? Not to worry, simply place this tropical mash-up of sraweberries black currant, jasmine, grapefruit, and fresh avocado under your nose and take a whiff. You'll soon forget the embarrassment." I honestly cant decide if I like this or not. To me personally the grapefruit is a bit over powering. I feel like as soon as I step out the door I will be followed by bees... Who knows the scent may grow on me. Until then I'm just going to keep using my other perfume.
How cute is this? I love it. And the smell is so good. Again I can't wait to use this product.
This smells just like summer to me. I love it. I wish this was an oil spray. *she says as she crosses her fingers. Please let there be an oil spray* I really like the whipped creams they make my hands super soft. I keep these with in a hands reach.
All in all this Summer's Soap Box was a huge it for me. Side note these products aren't available on the website until Friday May 20th at 6PM CST. Until then enjoy the tons of other great products. Also pop on over to Facebook for more fun FCS things,
I'm having a bit of a difficulty loading the pictures for today's challenge. I work late tonight and wont be home tell around 10 pm. So what I am going to do is I will post day 3 and 4 tomorrow. Sorry for the delay.
Coming for you on Tuesday I will have a brand new unboxing blog. I just received my Summer Fortune Cookie Soap Box in the mail. The theme is Just Keep Swimming, and it smells so good! Keep an eye out for it. XO That One Girl A book is a dream you hold in your hands.I love surprises. *That's one of the reason I really like the idea of monthly boxes so much.* One of my favorite past times is reading. I have loved it sense I was very little. So when I spotted OwlCrate on Facebook I knew I had to check it out. OwlCrate is a monthly box that has a different theme and Y/A book with each box. When I saw that the April theme was Dystopia, I was very excited. Dystopia is currently one of my favorite genres. I just had to get my hands on this box. You can perches an OwlCrate box 1 of 5 ways the 1st way is month to month. That will run you $29.99 +Shipping each month. The 2nd way is a 3 month prepay. That is $86.98 +Shipping. The 3rd is a 6 month prepay. This is $167.97 +shipping. The 4th way is to gift the box to someone. The prices for that are the same as above. If you do the 1 month gift you only get one box. The 5th and final way you can get a box is to perches it threw the past boxes section of the website. Sense I just wanted one box. I chose to gift it to myself. *You can pay via PayPal as well as card.* Now that we have covered the numbers end of the box lets get on to the fun stuff! Check out what I got in my Dystopian OwlCrate Box. Just like any monthly box the OwlCrate box comes with a list of things you will find inside. Each box comes with a special trinket. This months trinket has to be one of my favorite things in the whole box. Its a Hunger Games themed Mockingjay bracelet. Brought to you by The Geeky Cauldron I have been wanting to get one of these bracelets for a while now. So I was very excited to see that one came in the box. The Geeky Cauldron has a ton of really awesome fandom themed jewelry. I highly recommend that you check them out. And when you do use the code 'OWLCRATE" at check out to get 10% your whole order. This months box included one of 2 Hunger Games themed magnets. Designed by HalfBloodPrints. As soon as I opened this I immediately stuck it on my refrigerator. HalfBloodPrints has a ton of really cool fandom related things on their website. Ranging from clothes to home decor. It is totally worth a look While your there why don't you use the code THANKYOU30 at check out for 30% off your whole order. Another fun thing they had in this months box was a cute little coaster. This Shatter Me coaster *That I have totally been using all day* was designed by Evie Bookish With the quote "I spent my life folded between the pages of books." I love the quote and the design is just so pretty. This box also came with an iron on patch that reads "Property of WCKD" Being a huge fan of The Maze Runner series I love that they sent this. Now I just have to find a place to put it... Also in the box is a tiny notebook designed to look like the book 1984 by George Orwell. The notebook was designed by the company Manuscript. Last but definitely not least the book! This months book is Flawed by Cecelia Ahern. Flawed is Cecelia's first Y/A novel I'm only a couple chapters in but this book is really good so far. Another thing I really like about the box, is that the book comes with a letter from the author. Inside the book there was a Flawed tattoo. I'm currently using the tattoo as a bookmark. The only thing I would have changed about this box is I would have included the Divergent series some how. All in all I really liked OwlCrate. I'm glad I decided to buy it. I highly recommend this to anyone who loves to read. But do to the price I don't think I will be getting this month to month.
