This weeks song is comes from Brendan Murray. Brendan was one of my favorite contestants on this years X-Factor. He made it all the way to the top 4 I was hoping he would crack the top 3. However I'm not worried about him not landing a record contract anytime soon. He had people offering to record with him while he was still on the show. This honestly wont be the last time you see him as a song of the week.
I haven't done a song of the week in a really long time. Recently a close friend of mine told me to check out this band and I have been hooked ever sense.
I'm absolutely loving this song. I have had it on repeat *literally* sense it dropped last night. This weeks song of the week is by one of my very favorite artist Louis Tomlinson ft. Bebe Rexha and Digital Farm Animals.
Back To You
The song of the week is back, and I'm kicking it off with a brand new track from Zedd ft Liam Payne...
Everyone has that one band in their life that has so much meaning to them. That one band that's songs and lyrics connect perfectly with you. That one band you keep going back to no matter what. This is that band for me, and although I could have picked countless other songs to go with this post. Today this is how I feel.
I haven't posted a song of the week in a while. So here we go. It's Meghan Trainor - Me Too. I feel like if my friends and I made a music video it would mostly likely end up something like this haha.
XO That One Girl
It's a 2 for 1 blog post today. I have had the song "Wasted On You." by New Kids On The Block stuck in my head all day. I woke up this morning and I had the lyric's; "I know I gotta give you up. But I just can't let you go. Save my love for another. Cause it's wasted on you." running threw my head. Weirdly enough its not even one of the songs I listen to a lot.
I thought a lot about whether I wanted to post this on here today to be honest. Because I am a 30 year old, who is admitting that she still listens to NKOTB. Not just the old stuff I grew up with But the new songs as well. I knew I would get a lot of flack for posting this. And admitting I own this album. But I stopped and thought screw it. This is my page and my life. If I want to post about this song I can. Despite all the hate I know I will get.
I asked my mom recently "Out of all the musical fazes I have gone threw in my life which one annoyed you most?" I for sure thought she would say Hanson. But she looked at me and said "New kids..." I asked her why. Her response "Because its still happening."
