When I was little I wanted a little brother. I was informed that it was never going to happen. But I still wanted one. I never did get that little brother. Instead when I was 5 my sister had my nephew Tommy. I didn't want him at first. I told them that more then once. And floating around somewhere is a picture of me glaring at him the day he was born. But I quickly learned that no matter how hard I try, I could never stay mad at him. I'm glad that there is only 5 years between the two of us. Because I not only got to see my nephew grow up into a smart talented person. I got to spend his childhood with him. Today the boy who wanted to be called Toby, And coined the phrase homie g poptart is getting married. In the blink of an eye hes grown up and starting a life of his own. I couldn't be happier for him and his future wife Scotia. Only a few more hours to go.
For those of you who haven't noticed yet I have added a new page to the website. It's called Dear Customers. A place to talk about things such as how not to treat your cashier. For instance when you know that they are on break you don't come to them and say "are you going to open up?" And then get pissed at them when they say "No I'm sorry I'm on break." The proper response is "ok I'm sorry" not "Well fine then I guess I will wait." this literally happened to me today when I tried to perches a drink on my lunch break. So if you want to hear more things like that. Or you want to have a little retail therapy click on dear customers and join in on the discussions.
Back when I started That One Girl I liked to change the banner on each page when the seasons changed. I haven't changed any of the banners in a long time. So I sat down and thought, what kind of things do I want to rep each page? Then made new banners for every page. Threw out the week you will be seeing new things on all the pages. Starting with today and the new blog banner. I also changed the gif between the archives and the categories. Along with the drawing below my display picture. I hope you like it. Remember to keep an eye out for changes to rest of the website threw out the week.
