Before we talk about the new series I wanted to announce that I am currently looking into getting Paris In My Pocket officially trademarked. I have given it a lot of thought, yesterday I decided the time was now or never. I really enjoy doing this series and I would love to keep it my own. If any of you know someone or have legally trademarked anything yourself please contact me I have a few questions. Please don't just google it then contact me saying "I read somewhere once..." I'm taking this very serious and would like to get this done very soon.
Now onto my new P.I.M.P *shout out to my sister Shelly for the acronym* photo series. Near where I live there are 2 sets of old tracks going threw town. Yesterday while the weather was actually nice I wen't down one of the sets and took a few pictures for my new series "The Train To Paris". As soon as the weather clears up again and I have enough free time I'm going to walk down the second set of tracks for a bunch more pictures.
It has been a really long time sense I have sat down and wrote an actual update post. Better late then never I guess. For those of you who don't already know *and I'm sure most of you already do.* I am currently in the middle of my Spring quarter of college. I have been doing one online class and two on campus classes.
I am also currently working on a new photography project for my mom that I'm pretty excited about as well. This year as her Mother's Day present we are going to be doing a smoke bomb photoshoot.
This photoshoot is something I have really wanted to try for a long time now. My mom has also been wanting to get her photo taken so when I pitched her the idea we just ran with it. The date fr the shoot hasn't been set yet and we are still working out what she will wear, were on the hunt for the perfect dress. We do however have a place and the colors of the smoke already picked out. I will keep you all up to date and maybe even do a behind the scenes blog post.
Speaking of photos, I have a bunch of Paris In My Pocket pictures that I am going to upload very very soon. I also have a new Paris series in the works. I just need the great weather and the time to get it done. I have a really good feeling about his series I think you will all really like it.
Short stories have been shelved for the time being. I have had the worst writers block lately. I sit down with an idea and cant seem to find the right words. I think I need a day just to sit and chill and write whatever comes to mind, just to see of I can break threw the block.
As well as doing things on this page I am happy to say I am also working on a website for a friend of mine. He is going to start selling his art online and asked me if I was able to help out with the website. When that is officially up and running I will definitely share it on here so you can all go and check out his amazing art.
I'm going to have to stop here.... If I continue I will be late for class. Keep an eye out for new stuff soon.

Can you believe we have 24 days left until Christmas? This year has completely flown by. But isn't that what everyone says this time of year anyway? 2016 really did come and go in the blink of an eye, We have finally reached that time of year where I kick my butt into gear and try to make this page as Christmasy as possible. And what better way then to start off this years Blogmas with none other then...
1. What is Your favorite Christmas movie(s)
My all time favorite Christmas movie is none other then The Santa Clause. I absalutly love this movie!
The Santa Clause is the only movie I don't watch year round. To me it just isnt the Christmas season until I have watched this movie. Nothing beats curling up on the couch on a winter day with a cup of hot cocoa, a warm blanket and The Santa Clause.
2. Do you open presents on Christmas Eve or Christmas day?
When I was younger we opened presents on both Christmas Eve and Christmas day. On Christmas Eve we would go out to my uncle's house. For a fun little party with all the family members we wouldn't be seeing Christmas day. After we ate we would all go into the family room and open gifts. Then that night we would open one present at home before be.d. Then the rest of the family would come over on Christmas day for more present opening and Christmas dinner.
3. Do you have a favorite Christmas memory?
I don't have one specific favorite memory to be honest. I know people are going to say that sounds sads, But to me just being with my family every year is my favorite thing.
4. Favorite festive food.
Hands down I every year I literally look forward to Starbucks Cranberry Bliss Bars. I am obessed with them. Give me a grande cup of Chestnut Praline and a Cranberry Bliss Bar and I am a happy girl.
5. Favorite Christmas scent
Im a sucker for anything apple scented. So I would have to say my favorite Christmas scent hands down is apple cinnamon
6. Favorite Christmas gift?
Every year my dad gets my two other sisters and I a porcline doll to add to our collections.
7. Do you have any Christmas Eve traditions?
Every year we have a family get together with the family members we wont see Christmas day. Then before bed I open one gift.
8. What tops your tree?
I top my tree with a silver star.
9. As a kid what was the one (crazy, wild, exstravagant) gift you always asked for and didn't get?
A pug.... *Im still waiting...*
10. What's the best part of Christmas for you?
My favorite thing about Christmas is getting together with family. And seeing the looks on their faces when they open presents.
