It's official I'm going to New York! I payed for my plane ticket and hotel yesterday. I'm so excited *and to be honest a little nervous* for this trip. We leave on the 26th of March. The first hurtle has been jumped. Now to go threw the next hoop. Paying for the food, sight seeing, and shopping. I've asked for more hours at work between now and the day my flight leaves. I am praying that I get more than just 10 hours a week. A friend of mine is letting me do a days work around her house for some money. But I still need some help I am keeping my go fund me open. I don't need the full 2000 that the page is asking for. Anything you can donate and I mean anything would help out SO much. I mean hey 10 bucks could get me a slice of pizza. I don't like begging but this would help out tremendously. Please click here and donate. Please don't just share the page I really could use the help. This weekend my oldest niece *who is 26* is getting married. I can't wait to stand beside her as one of her bridesmaids and watch her marry the man of her dreams. I got to have one of those rare close relationships with my niece. We grew up together I got to see her become a kick ass women and mother and now I get to watch her become a wife. I'm very happy for her. I'm currently revamping the website. I really like the new theme I have going. One of the things I plan to do is bring back the baking section. That has always been one of my favorite parts of the website. Keep a look out for new cookie, cupcake, and copycat recipes very soon. When I go to New York I'm bringing my Eiffel Tower along with me to take some Paris In My Pocket pictures, as well as taking pictures everywhere we go on the trip of people places and things. I will be vloging the whole trip as well so keep an eye out for that as well. On that note I hope everyone has a great week. XO That One Girl

Hey guys sorry its been so long a lot has been going on personally. One thing I have been focused on is trying to raise money for my trip to New York. The dead line is vastly approaching and spots are filling up fast. This week I am going to head around to local businesses and ask for sponsorship. Hopefully we have enough people around here who would want to help. It's been hard because I only work 5-10 hours a week and that barley gives me enough to pay my phone bill. I still have my go fund me page up so if you would like to donate to that any little bit will help. Just click here. The whole trip is out of pocket I have to pay for the room and plane ticket, as well as help pay for transportation to and from the airport, and food and anything else that I have when I am there. We will be there for 5 days we have so much planned to do. Day 1 *Travel day arrive at 4 pm *Explore Time Square/Eat out *Take group photo Day 2 *Statue of Liberty/Ellis Island in the morning *9/11 memorial in the afternoon *Theatre in the evening (optional your choice) Day 3 *Metropolitan Museum of Art or MOMA in the morning *Central Park in the afternoon *Theatre in the evening Chicago (if you want to) Day 4 *Empire State Building in the morning *Greenwich Village in the afternoon *Theatre in the evening (optional your choice) Day 5 *Brooklyn *Return back to the hotel *Fly home at 7 pm This is a trip of a life time. I would *figuratively* kill to go on this trip. I have wanted to go to New York sense I was really little. I have a feeling this could be my only chance. Please help me out and give what you can. And if you know of anyone else who would like to help out please pass this along to them. I have to pay by the 25th of this month. XO That One Girl
I'm not one to ask for help with certain things, I normally like to do things on my own. Unfortunately this is something I haven't been able to do on my own. For those of you who don't know I am the publicist for the Centralia College Theatre Club. This year the Theatre Club is sponsoring a Spring Break trip to New York. We will be seeing a Broadway play as well as going to places like Brooklyn, The MOMA, Greenwich Village among other things, New York has been a dream of mine sense I was little. I've always wanted to see Time Square and find the Alice In Wonderland statue in Central park as well as see a Broadway play, The down payment for this trip is 900 dollars. My hours have been cut way down at work. I'm currently trying to get another job before the trip, but so far I haven't had any luck. We have to pay the 900 by February 25th. If I can't get the money in by then I will not be able to go on this trip. I started a Go Fund Me page before Christmas to help raise money so I can go on this trip. So far I haven't been too successful with it. I'm writing this to ask if anyone in the That One Fam can help donate to my trip. You don't have to donate a huge amount what ever you could give I would be so grateful for. When I am on the trip I plan to vlog the whole experiences and share it on YouTube as well as my blog so that it will be just like you were on the trip with me. I will take tons of pictures as well as Paris In My Pocket pictures. I have so many plans for that series. The Eiffel Tower at the Statue of Liberty,On the top of the Empire State Building, In Time Square, At the Theatre etc. Paris Takes New York. Would be so much fun to do, This trip doesn't happen often. Most of my friends from the Theatre Club will be graduating this year and I would love to be able to have this experience with them.It would be the trip of a life time and a dream come true. There are only 20 people who can sign up for to go and the spots are filling up fast. Please help me tick this off my bucket list. It would mean so much if you could donate and pass along my Go Fund Me page and help me encourage others to donate as well. Please click here to donate. Thank you. XO That One Girl

My Christmas was not uneventful to say the least, but it was fun and I got to spend time with family. For New Years/my 33rd birthday *that's scary number to say out loud* I just chilled at home and had some me time before school starts back up today. Thankfully all of my classes are back to back and I will be done by noon each day. Unfortunately that means I have an 8 am math class. I just hope my brain is fully awake by then haha. Math has never been my strong suit. I'm also taking Cultural Anthropology and Natural Resources. It's going to be a long quarter. One thing I plan on doing more of this year is getting myself up and back into my work out routine. I fell out of it hard and I know once I get back into it I will feel not only better physically but mentally. I figured sense I will be at the college early each day I might as well take advantage of free gym time. I was doing palates for a little while and loved that. I just need to find a work out partner who is willing to get up in the mornings, I don't know if I will do it every day but a couple days a week cant kill me right? I have a lot happening in the next couple months, In February I have my nieces bachelorette party *I still can't believe she will be 26 in a few weeks.* Then in March she is getting married. I can't wait! I have my bridesmaids dress all picked out and I love it. I just need to find heals and maybe a necklace to go with it. Also in March I will be going to New York with the Theatre Club from the college. I am really excited for that. We will be there over spring break. We are going to see a Broadway play of our choice. My group chose Harry Potter And The Cursed Child. If you have been following this page for a while now you will know that I am a massively huge Harry Potter fan, Seeing this play is on my bucket list as well as going to New York. I have a go fund me page set up here to help raise money. If you would like to donate to it that would be amazing it doesn't have to be a lot. I understand that Christmas has tapped people out. I have some new plan for the page to get me back on here a lot more. I redid the home page this morning but I'm not sure I am going to keep it. I will also be doing writing challenges when I have the time, so my short stories will be back up and running soon. I have a bunch of ideas bouncing round in my head I just have to get them out and structured. I have one story I'm working on that I want to share with you guys but I'm not sure when I would like to do that yet. It's still in development. Alright enough of the blah blah blah. I hope you all have a great rest of the week and to everyone who is going back to school this week good luck and don't stress out too much. XO That One Girl
It's finally here the last day of A Charmed Christmas. I just want to give Tina a shout out for getting me this advent calendar it was fun to do. I hope everyone had a great Christmas Eve. I had a relaxing day and now I'm about to finish up my cupcakes I still need to make the filling and the frosting. Hopefully they turn out good,I've never made tiramisu before. *if you are family and reading this and they suck tell the truth lol* Yesterday we got the word Christmas leaving Santa left. Sense we all knew that was the last one instead of guessing in the comments I asked everyone to say what their favorite charm from the calendar was.Sara and I both said the cross and Katie said the Christmas Tree. I have to say the Santa does look a little off. But other than that its cute, I put the whole bracelet together today and took a quick picture of it so you guys could all see. Thank you to everyone who checked the blog this Charmed Christmas. Also thank you to everyone who commented and participated, I have lots of plans for the New Year for this page so keep an eye out, XO That One Girl
Hey guys, I'm sorry this took a million years to get posted I woke up this morning with a migraine and didn't feel like posting anything. I had to get my cupcakes done and get a few other things done around the house. Then I took a nap for like 3 hours. I'm feeling better now and promise tomorrows will be on time, Sense there are only two charms left Santa and the word Christmas. What I want to do tomorrow is yes take a picture of the final charm but I also want to take a picture of the bracelet completed. So remember to come back tomorrow and check it out. Who's ready to see what I got today? Yesterday I said I guessed today would be the word Christmas. Sara is on team Christmas while Shelly Tina and Katie are all on team Santa. Its the word Christmas! Tomorrow will be Santa. Sense we don't get a guess I would love for you guys to comment bellow what your favorite Charm is. Mine is the cross. I hope you all had a nice weekend and I will see you back here tomorrow. XO That One Girl
Hey guys, I hope everyone is having a great weekend so far, I have to work again today and then I am off until after Christmas. I am going to try and get all my wrapping done tonight so I can spend tomorrow working on my cupcakes and then frost them Monday so they are all ready to go early Christmas morning. I have been thinking of some things to do with the blog in the new year. I have a couple ideas for some videos an things to do. I have one old school YouTube idea but it might be hard to carry out in the end, I want to get my sisters and my niece in one place *it will be too hectic on Christmas* then do a old fashioned Q&A to see who knows me best. They would be multiple choice questions with all honest answers everyone would get a notepad to write their answers on. I already have a couple of the questions in my head already.I don't know if or when it will every be filmed but it sounds like it could be fun. Who's ready for day 22? Yesterday we got the Yellow Jewel although the back of the box says its supposed to be a red one. I guessed today would be the Dove, Katie and Tina are guessing the word Christmas. Lets see who guessed right. Its the Dove! All we have left is Santa and the word Christmas. I am guessing that the word Christmas will be tomorrow. Don't forger to leave your guess below as well as hit like on the blog post. *It doesn't actually post it to Facebook. I'm just using it to see what content people like best so if you like something on here hit like.* XO That One Girl
It's the final Friday before Christmas! To everyone who works in any type of retail; may the odds be ever in your favor this weekend, and to all of those who are out shopping this weekend remember that people in retail are people too.We only do what we are told by the company and our managers. Also remember that yes the customer is always right but that doesn't mean the customers are entitled. We are just as stressed out about this time of year as you are. Be kind to one another. DoAnother thing you can do to unwind this Pre-Christmas weekend is cozy up with a warm blanket some snacks and a warm drink and watch a Hallmark Christmas movie. I recommend "Magical Christmas Ornaments" Its about a girl who used to be obsessed with Christmas. She has sense given up on Christmas complacently. To get her back into the Christmas spirit her parents start sending her Christmas ornaments from her past. With each ornament a mysterious and unexpected thing would happen.Check it out below. Don't let the thumb nail fool you. It really is the movie I just talked about. They put the other movie on the title as click bait. Now that you have watched a cozy and corny Christmas movie and are in a happy cozy feeling lets open up door number 21. Yesterday I said I thought today's charm would be the red jewel. Tina is on team jewel and Katie thinks it will be Santa. Wait what? A yellow jewel. The back of the box clearly stated a red one.... I wonder why they would put a red one on the back and then give a yellow one. Anyway for tomorrow I am guessing the Dove. XO That One Girl
